Request for Proposal

 Refurbishment and Rehabilitation of the Office and Properties of the Solomon Islands Maritime Authority

1. The Solomon Islands Maritime Authority (SIMA) is inviting bids for delivering refurbishment and rehabilitation work of its offices and properties.
2. The work and information related to the tender are included in the Terms of Reference.
3. All tenders must be in two separate sealed envelopes for the technical and financial proposals, unmarked with the name of the tenderer and tender reference details, but marked to the attention ‘Director of SIMA – Procurement’.
4. The tender is opening at the office of SIMA on Wednesday 25 June 2025.
5. Tenderers are informed that:
   1. SIMA is not bound to accept the lowest (or highest) or any tender.
   2. Failure to comply with the tender instructions may lead to disqualification of the tender.
   3. Any attempt by a Tenderer to influence the award of the tender in favour of any Tenderer will lead to disqualification and may lead to measures restricting the tender again with SIMA, or may lead criminal proceedings.
6. To obtain any further instructions or clarifications, the contact is procurement@sima.gov.sb. Any request that is not sent to this address will not receive acknowledgement and response.
7. The tender will close on Thursday 31 July 2025 (extended until 31 August 2025) at 23:59 Solomon Islands time.
8. Applications must be sent before the closing date and time at procurement@sima.gov.sb and in sealed envelopes as required in 3. An alternative method is to send the technical and financial proposals in two separate emails to procurement@sima.gov.sb.
9. Late submissions will not be accepted.
